Our MERV 8 FILTER MEDIA is designed for optimal dust holding capacity and to effectively control the growth of mold, mildew, fungi, algae, and bacteria on filters and in the air handling system. The anti-microbial agent is not water-soluble - it cannot leach out.

Unlike other filters, the anti-microbial agent in the MERV 8 FILTER MEDIA is not applied to only one side of the media; it is built throughout the entire product at the time of manufacturing and thus retains durability and provides superior anti-microbial protection. It does not off-gas, it remains active for the life of the filter.
