MERV 8 FILTER MEDIA
Filtration media can provide a breeding ground for mold and mildew.
Our MERV 8 FILTER MEDIA contains an antimicrobial agent that helps
protect against microorganisms that cause asthma and allergies, while
keeping the air you breathe fresh and clean.
MERV 8 FILTER MEDIA is designed for optimal dust holding capacity
and to effectively control the growth of mold, mildew, fungi, algae,
and bacteria on filters and in the air handling system. The antimicrobial
agent is not water-soluble - it cannot leach out.
Unlike other filters, the anti-microbial agent in our MERV 8 FILTER
MEDIA is not applied to only one side of the media; it is built throughout
the entire product at the time of manufacturing and thus retains durability
and provides superior antimicrobial protection. It does not migrate,
leach, off-gas, or volatize and it remains active for the life of
the filter.
This media has a MERV 8 rating, which means it can retain microscopic
sized particles, unlike many filters on the market.
